Nominator's project description
| Professor Ohta is a world leader in theoretical physics working on soft condensed matter and nonequilibrium processes. He has made outstanding contributions to the theory of the equilibrium structures and the kinetics of block copolymers as well as to interface dynamics and pattern formation in reaction-diffusion equations in nonequilibrium systems. In Germany, Prof. Ohta will advance his research on complex fluids as well as on pattern formation at interfaces and in reaction-diffusion systems. |
